Thanks Grandma

Thanks grandma for such a simple but awesome present. I spent a long time playing yesterday with my toy. I had so much fun digging through the box picking up matchers and then putting them back in the box. It was more entertaining than a toy that lights up or makes noise when I touch it. And today I got excited when mom let me play with that toy again.

MTU Hockey Trip

Adam was so tired from yesterday that he fell asleep in his high chair today. We took Adam to St. Cloud for our annual MTU hockey game with three other Tech Alumni and their kids. We had seven boys 7 years old and younger. The only bad thing is we showed up at 7 PM for a 5 PM game, so we watched about 5 minutes of hockey and then went back to the hotel. Not a big deal though, because the Tech Huskies lost 5-1 against the Faux "Huskies" (St. Cloud State).
I made really cute shirts for the little boys:
Adam got to go swimming for the first time and second time. We took him before dinner for about 5 minutes and he was pretty indifferent about the whole thing. We gave it one more try after the hockey game, this time he got to hang out with 9 month old Emmit (and of course us and Emmit's mom). He liked it the second time and spent about an hour in the pool.

Not Me

I would never leave my 6 month child to play on the floor while I checked my email. Nope not me... And if I did leave my child to play on the floor I would most certainly make sure that he had plenty of appropriate baby toys to play with.

I would definitely pick up the brightly colored dog toy that could attract his little fingers. And if I found my little guy with that dog toy in mouth I would reach for it right away and not for my camera.
And of course I would never steal the idea for my post today from another blog.

Graham Crackers

Adam loves graham crackers. We give him a piece in his hand and he can feed himself. He ends up a little messy, but he loves those crackers. On New Years eve my parents came to visit with lots of yummy food. My mom gave Adam a graham cracker while holding him and he was going to town on it. Then mom opened the chicken wing crock pot. When Adam smelled the chicken wings he dropped that half eaten graham cracker so fast and reached right for the crock pot.
And by the way- baby it's cold outside. Our van read -20F last night on our way back home from shopping and sushi:

6 Months Pictures (113 photos), by Renee from Dassel

Here are Adam's professional 6 month photos that I uploaded to Snapfish. He was a little difficult this time, but I got at least one good picture in each pose. They were taken on Tuesday.
