Our Future Engineer
Okay, Adam doesn't have to be an engineer even though both mommy and daddy are. But he sure looks ready to be an engineer when we put him in this little outfit :)

We all dressed up for church today (which isn't something we normally do, because dressing up for most of the members of our church means jeans with no holes). And we sat in the middle of the pew. Normally we sit on the outside for the ease of a fast exit, but church was packed so I settled for an inside seat. Adam was great and today was the first time we didn't have to leave church at all during mass.

Why I love Winter

It was like this for over 24 hours here in Hutch. I wanted to skip work and take pictures all day long!

It's Time to Babyprooff!
Adam started scooching. He can roll from one side to the other and push with his feet to get what he wants. And what he really wants is daddy's laptop. We tried to give him our old keyboard, but that just doesn't cut it!
Last weekend we moved our coffee table out of the way to make room for Adam to play and on the top of our to do list is put up the baby gate!

Thanks Grandma
Thanks grandma for such a simple but awesome present. I spent a long time playing yesterday with my toy. I had so much fun digging through the box picking up matchers and then putting them back in the box. It was more entertaining than a toy that lights up or makes noise when I touch it. And today I got excited
when mom let me play with that toy again.
Love Adam

MTU Hockey Trip
I made really cute shirts for the little boys:
Adam got to go swimming for the first time and second time. We took him before dinner for about 5 minutes and he was pretty indifferent about the whole thing. We gave it one more try after the hockey game, this time he got to hang out with 9 month old Emmit (and of course us and Emmit's mom). He liked it the second time and spent about an hour in the pool.

Not Me
I would never leave my 6 month child to play on the floor while I checked my email. Nope not me... And if I did leave my child to play on the floor I would most certainly make sure that he had plenty of appropriate baby toys to play with.

I would definitely pick up the brightly colored dog toy that could attract his little fingers. And if I found my little guy with that dog toy in mouth I would reach for it right away and not for my camera..jpg)
And of course I would never steal the idea for my post today from another blog.

6 Months Pictures (113 photos), by Renee from Dassel

Here are Adam's professional 6 month photos that I uploaded to Snapfish. He was a little difficult this time, but I got at least one good picture in each pose. They were taken on Tuesday.
