Tubes = Happy Baby

In February Isaac got tubes. He has had way too many ear infections in the last 6 months or so, but yet I was a nervous fort the surgery for our little guy.

He did such a good job though and recovered so fast I don't know why I was concerned. And now we have our happy, smiley baby back. And the explosion of words and communication these last few months is amazing.

This week was a big week for Adam. He performed his at his first grade musical. He invited both grandparents and they both came for the performance on a Tuesday night! And we were all so proud! We did the miss the memo that you need to show up 30 minutes early for the 30 minute performance to get a seat. I snuck up front to the one empty chair next to our friends, but Dave and company stood/sat in the way back.

Big Boy Bed

Seriously not ready for this, but thankfully Isaac is. Last night he threw his stuff out of his bed and cried at us many times and we decided that was the definitive proof he needed to be able to climb out of his bed on his own. Oh you dropped your nuk or blanket Isaac, go get it yourself... mom and dad are sleeping!
