Family Bowling

We went to the 3M bowling event again this year with the Albrechts. Our gang of kids just keeps getting bigger.

 Isaac and Gretchen were both new to bowling this year. Isaac couldn't get enough and loved pushing the ball down the ramp. Gretchen tried it once and decided that was enough!

Goodbye Schwedskala Winter Sports Complex

Dave bought the boys sleds for Christmas and at that time there was no snow and I scoffed. Then Christmas night we got over a foot of snow and the #SchwedskalaWinterSportsComplex came to be. We had a sledding hill (in the prairie where hills do not exist), an ice skating rink and cross country skiing down the street at the golf course.

We spent many weekends and winter nights out skating and the boys sledded down the hill most days when we got home from daycare. And then we had way too much warm weather in February and the snow melted and the ice isn't safe for walking on, but it was fun while it lasted. Until next winter #schwedskalawintersportcomplex.
