Happy 4th of July

Who allows the 4th of July to be on a Wednesday- I'm blaming you leap year! So we have this awkward work two days have a day off and then work two days more. We could take the whole week like most of my coworkers or Thursday-Friday like everyone who didn't take the whole week off. Or we could hang around home and enjoy the scorching heat. We chose the last option which meant we were around today for the best 4th of July Parade I've ever seen (note-I'm not sure I've ever seen a 4th of July parade- but even if I had today's would take the cake).

Even Little Brother got to watch the parade and share my icecream inside in the AC when it was over.
